I was so frightened when I first arrived and your kind office staff put me at ease. Then, the whole staff worked hard in preparation. They were so kind , thorough, and explained every thing they did…which also took any fear I had away. The Dr was wonderful, too by explaining before each action was taken! I think ( and I am typing through pain )but still say the experience was professional and nothing but kind. Thanks to everyone.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Sakamoto and his team. I was terrified about needing a gum graft after hearing nothing but horror stories. Let me tell you, I didn’t feel a single thing and the recovery was as painless as you can get. Kelly was amazingly helpful for my consult and surgery and Marcy was quick and awesome removing my stitches. Would highly highly recommend for any perio work needed. Thank you to the whole team!

Implanting a tooth is not a simple procedure. It requires several steps to complete the process. Dr Sakamoto has a 5 Star rating on Goggle and after completing most of the steps I rated him 5 Stars also. From the start he and his staff worked diligently to make me feel comfortable. They explained what they were about to do every step of the way. They excelled in pain management so I never worried while in the chair. Dr Sakamoto was extremely friendly as was the rest of his staff. I actually enjoy my visits to his office because they are so amicable. One additional point, Dr Sakamoto at my suggestion is going to make his unused video screens in to revolving picture screens so you won't have the same picture always during your procedures. I strongly suggest that this office is the absolutely the best for periodontics in the whole Columbus area. Thank you, Rick Weeks.

If you ever wonder if it is possible to love having your teeth cleaned than schedule an appointment with Amy Lacey! She is very thorough and very gentle. An analogy I came up with: think of having your car detailed vs running it through a car wash. That is how your teeth will feel after a session with Amy.

Dr Sakamoto and his staff are very professional group of people and in the same time they are very personal and approachable. I did business with them for about 20 years now, very respectful for my time, my money and more important they don't oversell services. Always comfortable to go there. They go the extra mile to call my two dental insurance companies and fight with them (if needed) very courteous when it comes to reminding me about a late bill. One thing i love to add that they don't try to be everything to everyone, i sent them at least 1/2 dozen friends over the year they treated some of them and some they referred them to other places, again they don't claim to do everything! They continue to impress me! i feel they care about my gum and dental health more than I do, Amy my long term dedicated dental hygienist, kindly didn't allow me to leave without Dr Sakamoto checking me out, which is something I really appreciated. The office looks much nicer after the updates they did.

I was a bit anxious prior to the surgery. Had I known the whole thing would go as smoothly and painless as it did, I would have done the whole thing instead of halve! And afterwards I have had no issues. Pain has been very minor, at most. My only complaint is dr Sakamoto tells a few funny jokes and stories and it is hard to laugh with my mouth full. Which is kinda funny in itself! Anyway, I experienced a top notch doctor and staff giving me a top notch experience! You guys are awesome

I went through several steps in my evaluation & everyone who helped me was very nice & professional. Dr. Mannava was very clear about what to expect while still having a comforting manner. I made my next appointment & feel confident in my choice to move forward. The office space was also attractive & very clean.

We honestly wish we'd found Dr. Sakomoto and his team years ago. They all do such an amazing job ensuring our dental health. The staff is all great and they genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. Dr. Sakomoto is an asset to the dental community in Ohio. We hope retirement is still many years away!

Dr. Sakamoto was great, very patient, informative and explained my gum situation along with recommendations for treatment and why. I reluctantly agreed to more scaling and planing which I had not done for years. Amy was amazing. Professional, compassionate, extremely skilled clinically at what she does however even more important her extra sensitive care to reduce stress and pain was very impressive. Amy went out of her way to take her time administering anesthetics very slowly and pain was virtually non existent for both of my visits lasting 2 hours each time. Amy offered tutelage on tips for brushing and flossing which were welcomed. Amy was a true blessing and the practice is very lucky to have her.

Grateful for the opportunity to review Dr. Sakamoto.and his very positive and helpful Team. At seventy six years of age I have had the opportunity to experience and evaluate dentist offices. Yesterday, March 12, 2025 we were exploring my condition and plan of action. Amber was first up and immediately I could tell she knew her stuff. My wife Jamie and I always evaluate the doctors office by the staff and their attitude and Amber has one of the best positive genuine attitudes ever experienced. Amber was very thorough and took time to answer every question I had and take ex rays etc. Dr. Fred Sakamoto is a delightfully positive person. Dr. Fred took all the time needed to answer my questions and gave me hope for the future of my big mouth. Dr. Fred donates a lot of his time to Veterans, of which I am one, and my guess is he provides the exact same service to our veterans that he does in his office! Thank you Sir….Now Fr. Fred and Amber laid out the plan of solving my periodontics challenge and they both gave this scared dude confidence. I met Stacey the Office Manager and “Work Mom “ of their Team. Same GREAT attitude and she laid out the charges and gave me an appointment date…..I am still a scared dude but definitely considering following through with these genuinely patient and nice people. Great experience starting with Amie relentlessly trying to find a time slot to fit me in, to Dental Assistant Stacy being very thorough with her work, Dr. Mannava took time to explain everything very patiently & moved her schedule to accommodate my follow-up visit, and finally Office Manager Stacey handling the scheduling & insurance details. Very friendly and professional team.

Dr. Sakamoto and Marcy were fantastic! I had a gum graft and was a bit nervous. Marcy explained the procedure extremely well. Dr. Sakamoto also went over the procedure in detail, very good experience! Shout out to the ladies at the front desk for being so polite and friendly! Let’s all have drinks sometime! My experience was very pleasant they were very knowledgeable they were very concerned with my pain level of taking x-rays they were very very considerate I will have them do what needs to be done the deep cleaning they are great people and I really appreciate their consideration and their dedication towards patients I highly recommend that if you need something done with your gums you need to come here to Dr Sakamoto
